Once I finally got hold of The guy in charge, he was not very pleasant to deal with or very welcoming.

"We stayed for 3 nights. Excellent staff and very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. The location is perfect, the view from our room was Winchester Cathedral. Parking is reasonably priced at the hotel but you need to get there early as the car park is not very large
