"Lovely staff, main building is beautiful and clean, sadly my room was not, especially the bathroom and the towel rail. I know I should have broached this with the staff, but honestly I'm no good at complaining. Beautiful grounds and lovely food."

"This hotel has a beautiful garden. Location is good just a short drive from Guildford centre. Breakfasts have various choices and cook by order. Shower water pressure is good. However, the bed is too soft can cause back pain."

"Very disappointing overall. Upon arrival, the receptionist couldn’t find our booking because it had been accidentally deleted by the reservation team. Thankfully, a helpful manager eventually provided us with a room. The room itself was quite small, with tiny beds and a poor layout. The bathroom had a large, unused empty space, while the main room barely had enough space to place luggage on the floor. There was no fridge, and the decoration was very basic and uninspiring. Also had a strong strange smell. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and seemed fairly new, and the garden area is nice. However, the hotel was hosting a wedding during our stay, which made it quite noisy. Overall, I would avoid booking this hotel."
