"The room was great, there were 3 working elevators which meant very little wait time going up or down, the laundry facilities and games room were much appreciated and utilized, as was the opportunity to grab fresh Beach Towels every day. The breakfast staff and the quality of the food was excellent and provided a great start to every day. I did notice that there was some ceiling damage, probably from water, in the hallway on the 12th floor where the plaster and paint were in need of attention. For the 11 days that we were there, nobody addressed the problem. There was also serious unsightly carpet ware in our room.(1215). Your Housekeeping staff are truly excellent and were very friendly and polite. Front Desk were also excellent. We loved the Beach View and spent hours watching those surfers trying to catch a wave. That little E-Store by the lobby was also a great place to grab a drink, laundry soap or a whatever we needed.
Many of your guests fly out at night. Your Check-Out time is 10am. This means that guests have to vacate their room perhaps 12 or more hours before flying. I believe it would be an excellent service if the SONO Hotel Group were to offer a vastly reduced rate "resting room" to late flight exiting customers. I would suggest that you dedicate a "rear-facing non-view" room for this service and offer it at $100. The final impression a customer has is often the one that draws them back."
