"Clean, comfortable room, rather spacious, and overlooking the lake. Located at the heart of Bowness on Windermere, close to the promenade. The only drawback was the breakfast- one had to queue to access the breakfast lounge, and the staff was utterly disorganised, making mistakes etc."

"An amazing hotel, we stayed here for the second part of our mini-moon to the Lake District. The hotel is stunning, amazing views overlooking the lake. The staff are lovely, welcoming and helpful, special shout out to Noel on the gate, gave us a lovely welcome. The spa/pool is stunning, a great place to lounge around and spend the day if its raining and the bar attached to the spa made it all the better The in house restaurant Mizumi was great, all the food was inventive and tasty! The hot tub room was great, would highly recommend."

"The staff were fantastic and despite being warned about building work we needn’t have worried. The food was good both for dinner and breakfast. The spa was especially nice. We were warned it would get busy by the very helpful member of staff but even when busy it was ok. We had a really lovely little break with great views of the lake. All in all worth every penny. Thank you for a wonderful time."
