"The hotel is not flashy, but recent refurbishments mean a clean, attractive room with a comfy bed and nice shower. In-room amenities (in the room we booked) included a full-size fridge, 2-burner stovetop, coffee maker, kettle (on request) and dishes/cutlery. We didn't need the pull-out couch. Rooms face the beautiful beach, with volleyball net, picnic tables, fire pits and swing set, and have a balcony. Staff were super-friendly and accommodating. Guests were quiet at night. Overall good value, good stay!"

"We loved that it was a historical property, which was very well maintained. The rooms are exceptionally large and comfortable and the property was very quiet. We had the Rita Hayworth room which provided a lovely view of the ocean, though the room was situated in the middle of the mansion, which looked over the roof of the pillared entrance to the front door. It was the only possible drawback that we can think of to the room, and we did not really notice it too much because we were looking at the view and the golf course below us. On another visit, we would choose either of the rooms to the left or right. We had dinner in their dining room, which was lovely. Breakfast nor lunch are served at the hotel and dinner is not served Monday and Tuesday evenings, but they recommended two very good restaurants to us for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went to them and thoroughly enjoyed them as well."

"The room probably is newly renovated, very modern and contemporary, particularly enjoyed the blue sofa, comfy with good support. AC is quiet and well functioned. Breakfast is excellent, with lots of choices for all ages. Appreciated the friendly and helpful staff too. Congrats for the well-trained team. Only thing about the noise at bedtime, the door slamming noise could be annoying."

"We loved our stay! Such an easy check in with a friendly person, our beach front room was beautiful with the opportunity to take our chairs out onto the grass in the sun to watch the tide come in from an endless beach, dinner in the restaurant was so delicious…it was prime rib night! And then a very comfortable bed and totally quiet thro the night. It was perfect….we will be back!"

"The room was clean and we had a great view! We asked to change our room to have an ocean view and they accommodated us and found us a room. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a wonderful dinner in the dining room and Jill, our server, was excellent. Everything we experienced was excellent."
