"This place is located just outside the penzance railway station. Restaurants, pubs, Tesco, co-op and the very important bus stop is located in a very close proximity and makes it the perfect place to stay. The owners are very friendly. The breakfast they made was very good."

Flat was clean and comfortable but with a little attention to detail could easily be elevated to a really good flat.
Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door.
Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold.

"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. "Nice spacious, airy and tastefully decorated room with all the necessary accessories and features.
The service was excellent and friendly.
The setting, with a beautiful view of Penzance and the harbour from the breakfast room, was particularly good.
The swimming pool set in lovely semi-tropical gardens was a real joy to be in.
My only gripes were: the shower, although providing ample hot water at more than adequate pressure, was nevertheless not easy to control the temperature of; the room TV - a large good quality Samsung - was not connected to an aerial so not terrestrial channels, and Prime Video did not allow logins to ones personal account.
