"Great location, beautiful furnishings, however the and function not really there. The room was not stocked with water or mini bar. And the room itself seemed to be missing an eating table and chair. The staff was awesome - food from room service 10/10 ! But we think they are upgrading the hardware? And the 2nd floor men’s bathroom needed some structural attention. We loved the last minute stay for the price, after our flight back to LA was cancelled."

"I rely on traveller reviews to make decisions for my family and we selected this hotel based on reviews and with our fingers crossed. Because the property far exceeded even our highest hopes I feel that I have to reciprocate and offer our own review. Terrific property, right in the heart of midtown and an easy walk to sights and restaurants. Open, inviting check in completed in minutes and a speedy elevator up to our floor with a view. Front staff, led by Stewart on our arrival made check in super easy and volunteered a great room with a view for our first time’rs in our teens (Pleasantly surprisingly) Expansive room (Junior Queen suite w pullout sofa) which was more than comfortable for a family of four including two teens. Thorough room service daily (probably wasn’t needed as much but the staff didn’t miss a beat in ensuring all amenities were replaced) Bistro on 12th floor with fresh muffins, yogurts etc as well as coffee. Very friendly staff. Wide open with chairs, tables and sofas and a great place to kick back to start / end your day. Approximate 10 minute walk to Lexington and Park Ave for sights and shopping. 15 minutes will get you to Times Square, south corner of Central Park or over to Grand Central Station. Multiple subway stops just across the street / quick jaunt to the hotel. A hotel can make or break a family vacation and this hotel definitely made ours. Can’t see us staying as a family in another midtown hotel ever again. 10-out of-10."

"We were very happy with our choice to stay at Fifty Sonesta. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Everything we wanted to see was just a short walk or ride away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose Fifty Sonesta again on our next trip to NYC."

"Our suite was very clean, roomy and comfortable. It was our first trip to New York and it was so easy to get around because of their staff, they booked vehicles whenever we needed one. Super nice and helpful staff! We really enjoyed our stay at The Lombardy hotel. We will recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Excellent location too!"
