"This hotel is by far the best in this part of San Antonio, we have tried at least 4 or 5, and it tops all of them! Special thanks to Nancy who went well above and beyond making my stay really comfortable, including scrubbing the slippery floor until it wasn't slippery any more at 9pm!! Parking is free, breakfast has a great selection of hot and cold items and the rooms are much bigger than any others we've had."

"i like that the property was close to seaworld. the rooms we’re cleaned. .The beds were comfortable. I had a King Suite it was roomy. I loved parking was free and onsite. i did not like that the suites was not handicap accessible so it was hard for me to get my mom on and off the toilet. The side doors was not working. i had to walk around to the front although my room was on the side. Ms Ethel the front desk clerk was nice nasty. she was not helpful at all. Anything you ask of her was a nice no we can’t do that because u book through a third party. She would not even try to accommodate. i asked her could someone light the fire pit outside. it was no in a nice way. i don’t have a lighter. On the other hand when dayshift came in Ms Sonja would try and help with anything you ask. She was a breath of fresh air compared to the evening shift Ms Ethel. We didn’t eat breakfast or dinner because the freezer was broken and please don’t go there thinking you are going to be in a full fledged restaurant because it’s not."

"Great place , second time staying here. If we come back to the area will stay here again! Only complaint is the pool room could use some ventilation. It’s hot in and the chloride smell is very strong!"

"We just wrapped up a fabulous stay at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Villas in San Antonio after spending the previous week at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa nearby. The difference was night and day. From the moment we arrived at the Hyatt, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and helpfulness that continued throughout our entire stay. The customer service here is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and proactive in a way that made us feel truly welcome and cared for. It was such a refreshing change after our disappointing experience at the JW, where the friendliness and overall service fell far short of what we expected. The resort itself is beautiful, with a relaxed Hill Country vibe, spacious and comfortable rooms, and fantastic amenities. We loved the pools, lazy river, and the peaceful grounds—everything felt well-maintained and inviting. Whether you're here for relaxation or family fun, this place delivers. We left much happier than when we arrived, and we’d happily return (and recommend the Hyatt over the other option in the area). Thank you to the entire team for turning our trip around!"
