"Very good all round, good location and staff friendly"

"I had a great stay here. The hotel is clean. The rooms could use a fresh coat of paint, (but I'm being really picky here) they were comfortable and cosy. Perfect for our needs. The breakfast was tasty and plentyfull. You can help yourself as much as you want. Full English, pastrys, toast, fruit, cereal & yoghurt. A very pleasant stay and great value for money "

"Its ok. Lovely rural setting. Average but v small room which felt dull and dated. Decent buffet breakfast. Nice spa. Lots of families. The Issie’s they have is the staff who while trying to be helpful were masking the fact that many were untrained and in turn unhelpful. Solid 5/10 a but with great potential if the management took the training seriously."

"This hotel turned out to be quite deceiving. From the outside it looked grand when you walk up to it, but in reality it was tired with a 70s/80s building on the side which is where we stayed. Branded as a spa hotel, the spa side was tiny, old and very dated. The pool was very small, the jacuzzi wasnt working and empty. The sauna was tiny, with a door that was hanging off the hinges and had scraped the floor. In the changing room, very few of the lockers worked. The room we had was very small but clean. Unfortunately there was a wedding the night we stayed, so there were lot of people about. What I can say about this hotel, the staff were lovely. They were all very friendly and polite, considering how busy they were with the wedding that was going on. The food was also excellent. It was just a shame about the spa."
