"Very comfortable hotel, all of the staff were very welcoming. Room was a nice size, I had a balcony which was a nice plus. Bed was super cozy, bathroom was fine. Breakfast was nice, had dinner one night and it was good. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the train station and a 1 minute walk to the cable car. Plenty of hiking from Murren but also access to plenty of options in the valley. "

"What a wonderful place. Oskar the owner was so great, kind, good recommendations for hikes and very nice and patient with our chaotic 18 month old daughter. The town was beautiful and peaceful but well connnected to the major sights. Don’t hesitate, it was my favorite hotel of our trip! "

"We had a very convenient stay at Hotel Alpenrose Wengen. We took the dinner offer which was really nice specially given the price (20 EUR per person). I particularly enjoyed the cheese buffet at the dinner. The breakfast was also very reasonable. The room was comfortable and clean."
