"10/10 for staff, room, food, gardens and grounds and of course Leeds Castle itself. Lovely to have free entry to Castle and able to access grounds after closing. Perfect, highly recommend and will come again."

"Healthy good breakfast, could have been hotter but good variety
Staff excellent and welcoming towards our dog, excellent walking in the grounds
Health spa nice, changing room a bit claustrophobic and a little dated however this didn't detract from our stay"

"The hotel staff and housekeeping were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a good menu and was excellent value. Room was comfortable and good Internet access. No cooked breakfast, but cereals and yoghurts/biscuits supplied in room, not in Restaurant. No shops in vicinity, but easy access to other places of interest and motorways."

"My husband and I stayed here recently while visiting a friend who lives just a short walk away, and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed! The bed was a little more firm that we are used to, but that seems to be a common thing we encountered with UK beds, in general and is not a complaint about this establishment in any way. The owner was very helpful and pleasant, and we would definitely consider staying here again for future visits!"

"We had a three nights’ stay, which was perfect and memorable for all the right reasons. We stayed at Lloyd overlooking the gardens, which was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean.
The quality of the food was exceptional - be it breakfast, dining in the restaurant or just snacks in the cafes - fresh, presented well and delectable. Having access to the beautifully maintained castle grounds around the clock was a real bonus.
What more could I say? Our stay left us spellbound and we will definitely return. The whole stay was a 5-star experience! Thank you to the entire team who are friendly, helpful, efficient and work tirelessly to meet the customers’ expectations! "
"I visit many hotels and there are too many major hotel chains that do not maintain high levels of service. This hotel was a welcome change as the standards throughout were very high. A special mention for the staff who were so helpful, and to the very high standards of the outside areas. So pleasing to see no litter but properly maintained gardens and walkways. Well done. "
3bed Maidstone Stay - Wifi, Parking, London Access
4/10 Poor
"Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money.
Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that check-in was not until 3. I was aware when check-in was but wanted the information ahead of arrival.
When we arrived at 3.30 people were still present at the property.
The WiFi did not work for the entirety of our stay.
We booked for 5 people and only provided with 3 towels, one of which was still wet. There were no hand towels either.
There were no bin bags in the bins and we couldn't find any in the property. The instructions in the property were to take the rubbish out, which we did but was not easy due to the lack of bin bags.
