"The vibe was so calm and relaxing. The breakfasts had a huge variety of food, and were tasty. The beds were less firm than usual Portuguese standards, but quite firm by UK standards. The pool was a delightful respite from daily life and as it was quiet, we often had the whole space to ourselves. The staff were lovely. The local town was a bit quiet, and developing in tourism. "The hotel is in an excellent spot overlooking the beach. It’s particularly lovely at sunset the breakfast was excellent and the staff are very helpful. The actual room was clean and hygienic. The only issue we had is that the hotel looks worn out it needs to uplift, painting and show an element of modernisation. Overall we enjoyed our day."

Toutefois, le plaisir du séjour est en partie atténué par quelques faiblesses au niveau de l'entretien (ex.: problème de climatisation, lampe non fonctionnel, robinetterie qui mériterait d'être resserrée, présence d'algues dans la piscine, etc.). L'établissement possède un cachet indéniable, mais un suivi plus rigoureux de la maintenance lui permettrait de retrouver tout son standing."
