"The room itself was basic but perfectly adequate for a one night stop, though it would havd been nice to ha e a proper cup rather than paper for hot drinks in the room. We had evening dinner and breakfast, both of which were fine. The main let down was the bathroom- when using the tap in the sink it came off in my hand (you had to be very careful when using it). "We had booked two rooms and surprised to find we weren't in the main hotel but an apartment opposite. The rooms were lovely and it was great to have the place to ourselves. "What a find! The owners have combined their family heirlooms with modern facilities most charmingly in their farmhouse. Beautiful gardens and thoughtfully arranged outdoor spaces. A most sympathetic and friendly hostess. Our evening meal was home cooked with vegetables and fruit from their potager. "This was my favorite 24 hours out of a 2 week trip to Europe! The Chateau is straight out of a fairy tale. We were greeted by two lovely women who brought us champagne and snacks while getting our room ready. We spent a couple hours in the spa enjoying the sauna, steam room, hot tub, and specialty teas. We walked the property and the few streets around the Chateau before enjoying a lovely dinner. The next morning we headed to Epernay for a fabulous champagne cellar tour at Moët and Chandon. It was perfect!"
