Best hotel we’ve ever stayed at in France. Staff very welcoming. Beautiful building, big rooms, easy parking and great breakfast. The kids loved the pool. We will stay there again!

Cosy stay in Ay

Comfortable hotel. Could do with drinks options in room as only self serve was struck under the staircase. Great off street parking. Breakfast hours in the week not very tourist friendly. Good location for champagne houses and Pressoria exhibition.

Wonderful location in the centre of Champagne. Cozy hotel with small pool, patio for afternoon reading, old fashion rooms nicely decorated - and a very friendly and helpful staff

Wonderful few days

Absolutely loved this hotel. It was on a quiet street, the building is gorgeous, our room was so beautiful and comfortable. It was worth every penny. We had breakfast 2 of the days, and the offering was fantastic. Lots to choose from. My favourite part was the drinks station under the stairs. Endless sparkling water was a dream! Definitely recommend this place.

My only regret about this hotel was not staying longer! We arrived in the evening after a long drive in the rain. Lucy checked us in and promptly called the only restaurant still open to see if they could fit us in, they did! The hotel itself is gorgeous! And has free parking in a garage across the street. We had the breakfast the next morning which was also great! We also took a quick dip in the pool which was the cutest pool area I ever saw! Although we were only there for one night, it was wonderful and it is on our list of places to return to!

Very comfortable, staff very helpful

I enjoyed the swimming pool, very relaxing stay, I would stay again. The only downside was there was no restaurant available on an evening but there were places near by to eat.

Enjoyable stay

Located in the heart of Champagne country, it is a short drive from Reims. The staff was friendly and helpful and offered recommendations to local restaurants and nearby sites. The place is a restored mansion with stained glass windows and historic charm. Breakfast was plentiful. The owners also run a champagne factory the next block over which we visited and did a tasting.

Grand old hotel in Champagne.

This hotel is very smart and the rooms well presented. It is extremely clean and smart. It has it's own large private garage for parking, conveniently located across the road from the hotel. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Overall a very nice hotel indeed.

Perfect location

Nice hotel with nice facilities. Room with plenty of space. Free coffee/tea and parking inside locked garage. We also was able to charge our car for free. Champagne houses just outside and plenty in walking distance.

Hotel Castel Jeanson is a beautiful property. Our room and bathroom were exceptionally beautiful and clean. The location was excellent for taking walks in the vineyards behind the property, and for walking to the shops for breakfast quiche lorraine and other delicious pastries. We stayed in several b&b's during our three weeks in France and Debrovnik. Hotel Castel Jeanson was by bar the very best! We will recommend to friends and come back again when we visit the champagne region.

Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Everything was immaculate and a great location within east walking distance to the champagne houses and Pressoria. Pool was lovely. Tip - not many local champagne houses open on a Sunday. Make sure you get a reservation for dinner or you will not get into any local restaurants. We had to drive into Epernay as they were all fully booked.
