Nicely styled outdoor seating area and swimming
pool.
Very efficient and friendly staff.
One young male member of staff gave a recommendation of a local cocktail served at the hotel. It was very good.
He also helped with explaining about the tickets for a train journey I had booked.
The red decor of the room we stayed in was a bit oppressive but it didn’t spoil our stay: minor gripe.

"Just book it! This is a lovely property, right at the foot of la Cite. It has a charming garden, patio and
pool; and an excellent breakfast buffet. A little gem. The view out the window was stunning at every hour. The light here, whether at sunrise, mid-day or sunset, is stunning. In the morning and evening the temperature here is cool and feels delightful. Truly a beautiful spot. "

"We are returning guests. Maison Mignardise is a rare gem, that we can recommend to anyone. The property itself is beautiful and clean, and well located just a few minutes' walk from the medieval city, where there are many good restaurants.
In the common areas, there is a living room with balcony, with a view of the medieval city. Complimentary coffee and tea is provided (or one can purchase wine and local beer).
The beds are very comfortable, the rooms seem recently renovated, the water pressure...

"This beautiful Bastide is worth a visit and as it’s also small, staying at the L’Hotel de Cité was an oasis all in itself. I would go back just to stay at the hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Someone quickly appeared when we parked as it was unusually hot to pick us up and whisk us to the hotel without us even requesting it. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to this person as we had our small frenchie with us and they do not do well in the heat. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous with wonderful gardens and lounge areas. The spa looked nice (will need to book that next time too) and the onsite restaurant was a nice added perk although you can walk the entire village quite easily with many options for food. The boulangerie right next door has the best ever chocolatines (also worth going back for). I would highly recommend a stay here. "
