Front desk staff was excellent! Very helpful, even with restaurant reservations. Parking is very convenient and walkable to the old city. Only issue is that the a/c was locked and not cold enough for the teat wave we were in.

Stays for three nights to explore the medieval city and do a day trip to Toulouse. The hotel is very walkable to the medieval citadel and is also on a bus route so for us, well located for our needs but far from the main carcassonne and taxi to/from the airport will cost over €20. Rooms large and clean, slight drain smell so needed to keep bathroom doors shut. The a/c annoyingly reverted to 25c from 22c during the night time so had to get up to regulate it (was 30/31c during day). Breakfast was varied, plentiful and good quality. Freshly squeezed orange juice machine was a nice touch. Swimming pool was fantastic after a hot day walking the ramparts and exploring the medieval city. Towels are a non-refundable €2 and disappointingly small. Overall we would stay here again if in the area - a well priced, comfortable hotel.

Brilliant Stay

The hotel was fantastic facilities were well kept and maintained to a high standard. Really enjoyed the theming of the hotel in a medieval style it was a great touch. Staff were really friendly and were always happy to help.

Great family friendly hotel

The whole family had a great stay at this hotel, the rooms, pool and dining area were all spotless and the staff went out of their way to help whenever we had a question or a problem. My partner and I kept remarking how hard everyone was working, but still the staff were always friendly and helpful.

Good hotel with a great location, Friendly staff, very good parking (secure) and an OK breakfast. The room was big and suites us well traveling 3 persons and a labrador. The bed was big and comfortable. New shower and bathroom. Just a 10 min walk to the Carcassonne old city. Can recommend it.

Excellent hotel for visit to Carcassonne old town with a 10-15 walk into the center. The room was small but very clean as was the hotel. Staff were very friendly even with our terrible French. Car park made it even easier.

Close to the Cité but quiet too

Ideally situated hotel, a 7 minute flat walk to the Cité along a quiet road. Hotel is quirkily decorated to reflect Carcassonne's history and is very comfortable and quiet. They serve food in the evenings, although the night we decided to eat there the restaurant was closed due to a private booking and we had to get taxis to/from the city centre.... Breakfast is good with plenty of choices and eat inside or out on the terrace, got a well stocked bar that wasn't that expensive too. All in all a great hotel for visiting the Cité

Everyone was so nice and friendly. Pool was so nice and refreshing since it was practically 100 degrees f. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was easy and very good. We were glad too since up in the Cité there's no AC and all outdoor seating. Rooms very clean! And the included breakfast with the fresh OJ machine is so yummy! Private safe parking with lots of shade a plus too!!

Friendly helpful staff. Convenient location. Good value for money. Good buffet breakfast. Restaurant should be open every evening. I was disappointed it was closed on Sunday evening. A decent 3* hotel with a good small pool with sunloungers. Good ample breakfast included in price. Only a 10 minute stroll to the Cite. No balcony in rooms in level 1 & 2.
