"We recently stayed at Cliff House Inn for 4 days to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it turned out to be such a memorable getaway. The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly located. I had requested a birthday surprise, and they thoughtfully decorated our room with flowers, which made it feel extra special. Our room was clean, cozy, and had an ocean-facing view, waking up to the sound of waves was just magical. One of the best parts of our stay was simply soaking in the surroundings, whether it was sitting by the pool, watching the ocean waves crash, or enjoying the stunning sunsets right from the property. They also offer a continental breakfast, and having it while sitting by the ocean made mornings feel so peaceful and relaxing. The location is super convenient too, very close to the freeway, about 15 minutes from Santa Barbara and 15 minutes from Ventura Harbor, which made exploring really easy. The property itself is gorgeous, with trails nearby that are great for biking. And the highlight? We even spotted whales and dolphins from the beach chairs during sunset, such an unforgettable experience. Overall, it was a really lovely stay and the perfect place to relax, celebrate, and enjoy some quiet time by the ocean. Highly recommend!"

"Beach view was great. You can definitely get to know your neighbors though. Not much privacy or separation from the adjacent rooms. But this is knit picking. It was a great view. The staff was great. We were pretty early and they were very helpful with our bags and advice for the area. "

"For the breakfast, the first day, I did not see an attendant for about 20 minutes and there was need to fill the eggs and the milk. When she did arrive, I had asked if she would refill things. It took her a bit, but she did do it as far as feeling dog friendly. Everybody was very nice yet. There is only one area that they want the dogs to be at everywhere else else’s signs saying no docs so I did feel it was a little contradictory as far as saying, their dog friendly, but only on that one patch of grass."

"Convenient location, close to freeway really helps, room conditions can be improved, but it is fine for the price, overall it is a decent place for out of towner, dont expect 5 stars room conditiona or world-class services unless you aren't will to pay for them; otherwise it is what it is...will stay again."
