"Everything was excellent but the location was the best part. Close enough to train station making it easy to get to hotel on first day with luggage (10 min walk). It is in front of the canal with water bus stop to St Marcos and to Murano in less than 2 min walk. It is far from main streets which helped for quiet good night sleep (went to bed 9pm due to time change). Staff was very friendly and helpful.. like everyone of them. Breakfast was not excellent but good enough (I had better ones in other 4 star hotels around Europe). There are two elevators which made it easy to go up and down. Overall, this is a hotel I would recommend to anyone who is looking for similar needs."
"Fabulous experience in this beautifully restored monastery, only an 8 min walk from the bus terminal. It is close to a vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal, but it’s very quiet and off the busy thoroughfare. The staff was supremely friendly and helpful AND they include in the cost of lodging free luggage storage and probably the best breakfast we’ve ever eaten in our extensive travels. Did I mention that the bed was more comfortable than at home? Only regret is that we couldn’t have stay longer."
"This property was excellent. We celebrated our honeymoon and everyone was so accommodating and very attentive. Mim was exceptional. She goes over and above to make sure everyone is taken care of. Professional yet very very kind.
Nicolas was also exceptional. Always made us feel welcome.
The only issue we had was upon our arrival at the train station the boat taxi from the hotel was extremely rude to us. We had areanged to have him pick us up at 3 and it was 2:55 and he was upset that he kept calling us
We needed time to get from the train with our bags and find where to meet him. Plus we had no data and had to use the wifi of train station. It ruined our excitement that we felt when we arrived in venice. This was not acceptable.
I would like the hotel to look into this.
Thank you
Daisy

"I thought the location was excellent and the fact that the water taxi pulls right up to the door so if you need to go anywhere buy water taxi it’s available. Staff was excellent. The hotel was clean. The food was amazing and they had an awesome view on the rooftop"
"10/10. Staff were amazing and so friendly! The location was perfect, right in the middle of exactly where you want to be! Just quit looking for other hotels, and book this one! "
