The location is perfect, and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and relaxing. What really sets it apart is the attentive, friendly service, which made me feel genuinely valued. A fabulous hotel with real character and a wonderful standard of hospitality. Highly recommended and somewhere I would love to return to!"

"Staff very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and always served with a smile. Reading room was a bonus, very comfortable and quiet with door to beautiful garden. Rooms were clean, water pressure in shower was not great but adequate. Double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together but they didn’t actually match. 1 was comfortable though. Despite that I would definitely recommend it and will definitely stay again."

"We stayed on the 9th and again on the 13th for two separate nights. The first nights room was on the ground floor and suited us perfectly. The second nights room was on the third floor up quite a lot of stairs and along many corridors. We were asked if we wanted help with the luggage, thank you. Although the rooms contained the same elements, it felt smaller as it was in the roof space. It felt hot but a fan was provided. The staff are all lovely, welcoming and helpful and we will continue to return when visiting Guernsey. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices. There is parking if needed. Would always recommend this hotel."

"Public areas refurbished to a very high standard, the room we had was quite spacious but a little dated, but its obvious they invest and upgrade on an ongoing basis. The highlight was the location - walkable to everything, and also the food offer. We dined twice - a good value but beautiful 3 course dinner in the conservatory restaurat one evening and then excellent dinner in J Parkers restaurant on the second night. we had fabulous breakfast each morning and also afternoon tea in the patisserie. Excellent food, very good service and friendly staff."

We were happy to receive an upgraded room on this occasion. Everything was super clean. Gorgeous bed linen and the comfiest pillows.
