The hotel overall is lovely, it is dated in some places but very clean and well presented and maintained.
I pointed out to Will and Trond on reception a couple of issues with my room (as constructive criticism, not a complaint) that my bijou single room has the smallest shower unit and toilet space I have ever seen on my travels, it is not suitable for a large person; and a small fridge in the room would be nice to keep drinks cold.
The staff are amazing, nothing was any trouble or inconvenience to them, they helped make my stay very enjoyable. I had the pleasure of meeting 2 lovely housemaids (apologies ladies, I didn’t get your names), Phil, Fabio, Dev, Damon, Shaffi and Marcio; you all do a grand job 👍 😊
The veggie/vegan menu is limited, Marcio very kindly arranged with the chef for me to have avocado every morning for breakfast, thank you Marcio and chef, this was very much appreciated (and delicious).
I also visited The Marton guest house further up the road, it is the sister hotel to The Pandora, I met newly appointed manager Josmely, a lovely young lady; good luck Josmely in your new adventure at The Marton.
I would totally recommend The Pandora, I hope to revisit again when Harolds Bar is up and running.
