Such friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean, had a small fridge, modern bathroom (with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) and air conditioning. The bed was large and comfortable, so we were very pleased with our room. We also love dining in the Copenhagen restaurant where there is so much choice.
Every member of staff here has been incredibly helpful. The food in the Copenhagen Bar and Grill was exceptional.
The room was warm and beds comfortable and we slept so well. We have loved everything and will most definitely be back. Thank you x
Another amazing trip to Hotel de Havelet. Service is always excellent. Lovely clean hotel with great facilities. Spa has steam room, jacuzzi, pool and sauna. Food is next level with views over St Peter Port.
Weekend visit, the staff were helpful and attentive, the room recently updated and very clean. The restaurant was good and breakfast good value. I will definitely come
Back.
Fantastic stay for a short break to Guernsey. Great service and wonderful proximity to St Peter Port. Bit of a steep hill but doable. We enjoyed everything.
There’s a reason the Hotel de Havelet is award winning. From reception to the room, food and breakfast were amazing. Couldn’t fault a single thing with Hotel de Havelet. Every member of staff was amazing. The food is always awesome. Views over the bay are breathtaking.

Asante sana/ Thank you very much
Stayed at the de Havelet for 5 nights. From the moment we arrived the staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean and well appointed and the bedroom had aircon. The swimming pool and spa area was very clean and a nice area to relax after a days sightseeing. The restaurant food was of a good standard and all the staff were helpful.
The staff were lovely and went the extra mile. We had a lot of noise in our room and asked to be moved - the receptionist was very understanding and we were moved to a lovely , quiet room at the back of the hotel and also found a bottle of Prosecco and. Strawberries with an apology note - couldn’t have asked for more

A Lovely Hotel, Unashamed of Its Age and History
We enjoyed our stay. Yes, the hotel is old-fashioned,in that it's not all stainless steel, glass and fake marble. It's in a historic house, and you really get that feeling, which we enjoyed. Staff were pleasant and efficient. We had a twin room with an uninspiring view of the Reception area's roof, but you can't win 'em all. Everything was clean. And we really enjoyed the pool area, with hot tub, sauna and steam room. It was very clean and - doubtless because of the time of year - we had it almost to ourselves most visits. Great! We ate twice in the Copenhagen restaurant and can recommend it. Plus, they do very good breakfasts. The bar area gets crowded in the evening and it was quite intimidating walking in to book a table for dinner; but it can't be helped.
On one day, there was a major electrical problem with our bathroom, which led to a night of poor sleep, which left me feeling shattered - which was unfortunate because although we were on a largely leisure trip, we did have an important meeting the next day. But the management handled the situation very well.
We walked into St Peter Port centre and back and although there's a bit of a hill, it's no big deal.
We would happily return to the de Havelet hotel.. Next time in the hope of a room with some kind of view, because if you get the right angle, there are some lovely views from this spot.
We’ve stayed here several times and have always loved it. Comfortable rooms, Close to town although a great bar & restaurant if you want to stay on site.
We had an idyllic stay at the Hotel de Havelet and will certainly go there again. It ticks all the boxes for a comfortable and peaceful holiday on a beautiful island!
