"This hotel is in a fabulous location with probably the best views of the grand harbour in Valletta. The decor is a little tired and old fashioned - they should really get rid of the cushions in the beds - but everything is spotlessly clean and in good working order. The staff are very helpful and friendly and go out of their way to assist you in any way they can. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful to set you up for the day. "Fantastic stay"

"Nice apartment just outside the busiest area of Valletta. All within walking distance of Valletta's main sites. Spacious apartment with bedroom, kitchen area and bathroom. Nice shared rooftop terrace with small jet-tub. However, there is no reception and we didn't have any housekeeping/cleaning for the 7 nights we were there, but we did receive some fresh towels towards the end of our stay. We would definitely stay here again."

"The hosts were good at communicating ahead of time. When I arrived I was met promptly and shown a room different from my booking (3rd floor, not first floor). They then tried to charge me an additional and previously unmentioned cleaning fee (which I did not pay). The hot tub in the basement was not hot. It was an unheated tub of water, and while there were jets, there was no way to make it warm. This was my most expensive accommodation in Malta, and I choose it for the hot tub, so to discover...

"An older hotel. Relatively clean room. Tried some upgrading. The bathroom has been ungraded, but definitely on a budget as with the other renovation. Has an old musty hotel feeling. Okay for budget hotel if you can get it a low enough price"
