"My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. Our room was clean and comfortable, if a little warm (April). Only used the bar and restaurant once. Breakfast was nice; busy but well managed by the staff. Only slight issue was a queue for coffee as not all the machines were working. We both used the leisure suite. Gym was well equiped and the pool clean and quiet if you timed it right, ie adults only time. I had a facial which was amazing."

"Very welcoming and helpful staff at reception on check in. The bed was incredibly comfy and the room was very clean. Parking was available at the hotel and for a feasible price of £10 for 24 hours. We went to one of the bars/restaurant linked to the hotel, the Bear. Staff were very friendly there too and it was an added bonus to get 10% off all food and drinks. We will definitely be back. "

"Breakfast was outstanding. Cooked fresh to order and a range of cold cold buffet items to help yourself too. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. The room was very clean, comfortable and had some lovely luxurious touches that made the stay perfect. Minor issue with the toilet seat which was fixed as soon as we reported it to reception. It would have been nice to have had a bit more milk available for the hot drinks in the room as we are both big tea and coffee drinkers, but I'm sure we would have been given more if we had asked. It was nice to see a lot of use of local produce in the hotel and quality products like molten brown I'm the bathroom. Overall we had a very peaceful, relaxed stay and would definitely return."

"Room was fantastic… although, cleaning wasn’t timely enough. I enjoyed my stay because of proximity to all my activities. I highly recommend anytime. "

"Parked across the road, nice hotel perfect for a couples trip. Reception is friendly and check in and check out is easy. One suggestion - additional lamp(s) in the room as very bright with cieling light on, too dark with just the bedside lamps."

"The room was clean and tidy and represented good value for money. Weekend car parking was free and check in and check out was speedy. The whole atmosphere was friendly and the staff were very good. Bar food and drinks represented good value for money/ There were no boathooks in the room which could have been a problem during wet weather. There was also nowhere in the bathroom to hang wet swimwear. There were insufficient wrist bands available for the pool area meaning we did not have locker access and had to take our belongings poolside."

"If you like decent coffee included in breakfast dont take this option. Breakfast was edible but that was jt and the beds were so soft and uncomfortable, the air con doesn't work properly either "

"Beautiful historic coach house in the middle of the most beautiful part of the Cotswolds. Room was large, food at James Martins tavern was superb and the staff were fantastic, especially Jason who greeted us on arrival and the waitress Gina at breakfast who was so welcoming, friendly and nice to my 3 yr old son. Will definitely be returning. Hopefully for Christmas. "
