"Restaurant staff were very abrasive and not helpful. Refused to order at at the bar, instructed to sit and they would come. Waited 20mins no menu went to another hotel around the corner and they were really good for dinner and friendly. The hotel itself receptionist was very helpful though. Hotel = Good. Restaurant = Below average. Dragged down by service staff."

"The property is in a really good location, if you don't have a car it's very easy to get to Salzburg as you can take the bus and it's only about 20mins to the centre and about 30mins from the train station. The scenery around the hotel is lovely and it's very relaxing to sit outside and have some food/drinks. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. My only minor point is that they don't charge you the tourist tax when you check-in, but when you check out and as there was no recpetion staff around when I needed to leave and I couldn't wait any longer than I already had, so they contacted me after to request that I email them my credit card details so they could take the payment for the 4 Euros. I was a bit concerned about that, but it seems to have been ok."

"Beautiful place- only disappointment was lack of aircon. There was a portable air conditioner in the room with a hose going out of the window, but the settings didn't work at all. There was high, low, and night time(quiet) but nothing worked and it was just very loud all the time, whatever you turned the settings to. So we couldn't use it at night time at all. Also no fridge in the room is worth knowing. Otherwise great, amazing breakfast. Easy and free parking, great public transport into the city. Staff were lovely."

"Phenomenal 4 night stay with family of 4. First and foremost the staff (specifically Maria - night reception) went above and beyond helping for providing an excellent service to whatever questions or needs when asked. I can not thank you enough. Hotel EXTREMELY clean throughout common and room areas. Very safe and quiet atmosphere. Breakfast had made to order eggs and multiple options…kids didn’t complain once. Centrally located (if driving) for Berchesgarten Area and Salzburg sightseeing. Air conditioning. Pool. Parking on site. Only down side no coffee pot, refrigerator, iron/board (no doubt would probably supply if asked). 4.5 over all. Would definitely recommend for traveling families and just travelers as whole."
