I had a fantastic experience traveling with my family, including a teenager, at the IMLAUER Hotel Pitter Salzburg. The hotel is centrally located, exceptionally clean, and features very spacious, well-maintained rooms, with everything we needed feeling like it was within walking distance. A major highlight was the great Sky Bar lounge, and we loved that there are excellent food options right nearby. The only minor drawback is that the parking situation can be a little tricky to navigate, but overall, it was an outstanding family stay and I would absolutely choose this hotel again.

Fabulous hotel a short 10min walk from the railway station. Spotlessly clean with attentive, helpful, welcoming staff in all areas. Rooms have all the facilities you need - tea/coffee making, iron/ironing board, hairdryer and we’re in an immaculate condition with daily maid service if required. Congratulations to all this was a wonderful hotel to stay at and explore Salzburg.

The guy who checked us in Szlotan was not helpful and when I came back down to mention there was no bottled water as promised - he said there should be complimentary water on the tables - i said there is none - he said in Germany you can drink from the taps - the lady at checkout was very helpful and apologized on his behalf but we were now checking out. Overall property was average for rate paid and service was not great.

THE HOTEL IS WITHIN A 10 MINUTE WALK OF THE TRAIN STATION AND 15 MINUTE WALK TO THE FORTRESS - TO MIRABEL GARDENS (WHERE THE SOUND OF MUSIC WAS SHOT) AND THE BUS ROUTES GO REGULARLY RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL. THE ROOM ITSELF WAS VERY ROOMY WITH PLENTY OF CLOSET SPACE AND A WONDERFUL SHOWER. THERE IS A VERY GOOD PLACE TO EAT IN THE SAME BUILDING JUST AT THE OTHER END OF A LONG HALLWAY. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL IN UNDERSTANDING THE BUS ROUTES AND DID IT IN A FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS MANNER. ALL IN ALL MY WIFE AND I WERE VERY PLEASED ABOUT EVERY ASPECT OF OUR 3 DAY STAY AT THE HOTEL.
