"I had a really pleasant stay at The Ship. The room was compact but spotless and well-organised, with a comfy single bed, en-suite bathroom, TV, and a side cabinet stocked with tea, coffee, and biscuits—such a thoughtful touch. It had been a long time since I’d slept in a single bed, but it was surprisingly comfortable and perfect for a good night’s rest. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend it to other travellers looking for a clean, cosy spot with all the essentials.

"Had a wonderful and peaceful stay for my birthday - staff very kindly upgraded my room. I had the most relaxing facial at the spa which was worth every penny! I also really enjoyed the fish and chips from the restaurant.
Cleanliness was overall good, but could've been improved when it came to stains on the sofa in the room, occasional hairs left on furniture and insects found in-between the window frames. I understand some of these can be difficult to remove, but that attention to detail would've have made the stay 10/10 for me. "
