"I was there for three nights. I’ve stayed in this hotel many times over the years. I begin staying there when it was a brand new hotel. I think they’ve done a great job of maintaining the hotel with a couple of exceptions. The room I was assigned to first had a terrible, moldy, smell. The air conditioner had leaked onto the carpet. The carpet was soaking wet within a 4 foot radius of the air-conditioning unit. When I went down to tell them about it, there were no other rooms readily available. I checked in the next morning with the front desk and tried until early afternoon to get a different room. That was partially because I was staying in the hotel with a son who had been injured in a car accident and wanted to be close to him in case he needed help. I was finally moved across the hall from him to a smaller room. On check-in, we were given” Emergency keys” because of a a new key system and their keys weren’t working correctly. We had no problem with those keys. The next morning,when I turned the emergency keys in and got regular keys I had to return to the check-in desk a minimum of six times. The keys to one room NEVER worked and I had to ask someone at the desk to let us in each time we needed accessThe manager on duty was very nice, but was a MasterClass in how not to deal with customers. She said she was tired of dealing with the whole key issue too, and she “had to be there and work withit. She equated working there with paying to stay there."
