The hotel is in good condition overall. I have no complaints about the staff. Due to the season, the hotel has minimal services and is almost empty of personnel. There is no hotel lobby “bar” after 6:00 p.m. VIP credit can only be used for alcoholic drinks up to 6:00 p.m. and not at the beach. Olivia Bar was not in attendance. In general, very disappointing that the low season impacts those who stay at the hotel.

We had an incredible time at Hotelito Azul. Everything was perfect, from the hotel to the staff. We were welcomed with a delicious green smoothie from Olivia’s (we kept coming back for more!). The ambiance is perfect for a relaxing, soul soothing vacation. Our oceanfront room had beautiful sunrise views we will always remember. The Agave restaurant, beachfront, served the best rib eye tacos! And a special thanks to the staff for being so attentive, helpful, and making us feel right at home.

If you’re looking for the quiet of Tulum this is your hotel!! The peaceful atmosphere feeling like your on a secluded beach, incredible plantings, greenery on the premises it truly makes you feel like your on vacation! If you’re looking for a very laid back property this is the place. Food in both restaurants is fresh, and delicious, the staff is amazing (especially Karen at Olivia’s and Cayay on the beach. Try to request second floor rooms facing the beach or gardens it’s a real feeling of being in the treetops!

Hotelito Azul was a perfect getaway for my husband and I. The resort was beautiful and quaint. The food was amazing, the views and amenities were pristine, and the staff was more than accommodating! Would definitely stay here again!

Best place for beach, staff is very very nice Music too loud, food service was slow, room availability at check in time was 2 hours late, rooms are not cleaned everyday, but we will certainly come back.

Extremely pleased with our stay at Azul. The staff is friendly and attentive. Victor at the Agave restaurant deserves a special mention. You could call on him for food and drink suggestions, beach towels, sunscreen, and he would assist with a big smile and a great vibe. Overall, it was an amazing, pleasant, and relaxing experience.

I had the most amazing stay here after booking a last minute night. All the staff were so attentive and can’t thank them enough - especially Abigail and the bar staff at the Oliva bar. WhatsApp groups were super helpful whenever I needed something. Thank you.

Need to work on getting a bigger sign or visible that shows the hotel name. I passed it twice because theirs a big palm tree covering the hotel name. And if you have a rental. You have to park 2 buildings down from the hotel. Also, they keep the gate locked so not very convenient in getting in and out. Other than that this place has good food, and the room was nice with good service. Also theirs a restaurant across the street for dinner options.

Everything was just perfect

Everything was amazing. Staff super friendly, they have 3 restaurants that can bring you food and drinks anywhere within the hotel , like on the beach, in the room, at the pool.. etc. they have a great rooftop with 2 pools and 2 bars. Everything was perfect!

Great time in Tulum!

We booked last minute and got a great deal on a ocean suite. The cabin was adorable and view amazing. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The gym is modern and well equipped. The rooftop deck and infinity pool is fantastic and sets the hotel apart.

All the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We had great drinks at the rooftop with Juan as the bar tender and Bernardo always suggesting options. We complained about some noise from the hotel next to us and they change our room . Everything was really good

Renato and his staff were amazing. From helping arrange transportation to the ease of the check in process. The room was absolutely amazing. We had so many plans but the room and sound of the ocean was so relaxing we slept through our activities. Definitely plan on returning to this resort.

Staff was very friendly, Hotel lobby clean, overall property was in need of maintenance, beach lounge chairs fabric all ripped up, palapa roofs leaked water, door locks were difficult to lock, restaurant. and bar PRICE GOUGING! bar and restaurant not stocked, no rooftop attendants, basically no security

This is a 5 star hotel, I couldn't ask for more, ALL the staff were amazing with everybody, always looking to see if you need something more or if they can help with something to make sure all goes perfect on your dream holiday, everybody is so happy, the food it was always Incredible, my Room was perfectly clean daily, the sunrise and the sunsets simply wow, I went looking to relax and The Hotelito Azul was the perfect place to be I couldn't ask for more I will defenetly going back. OHH, Plus they have the highest pool I believe with the best sunset, the roof top was the best place to be if you are looking to be chilling at the hotel, great music, cocktails, food. AM SO SO HAPPY with this Hotel.
