Centara Grand Hotel Osaka
10/10 Excellent
"We loved this hotel! It was convenient for walking, it was clean and staff was great. Highly recommend! "
"Very close to Dotonbori. You'll never go hungry as you're surrounded by convenience stores. The area is safe and walkable to shopping places and restaurants. We booked the double bed room for 2 people. If you're not used to Japanese hotels, this room might feel small to you. Packing was a bit of a struggle due to the lack of floor space, but we already knew that would be the case as smaller hotel rooms are very common in Japan. The free breakfast was a treat. They had typical Japanese breakfast which was very hearty and healthy. We would definitely book back and recommend this hotel to our family and friends. "
"The room is a bit small, which is typical for hotels in Japan, but the location is fantastic—just a 3-minute walk to Dotonbori. The morning breakfast buffet is also great. "
"The hotel room was great and spacious for 4 people! Loved having the washer in the room and the shower also having a drying option for clothes. The only confusing thing was checking into the hotel when we got there early. Since there is no waiting room or front staff we waited outside with our luggages before we were given access to the room. "
"Wonderful service at the hotel and a great location just a few minutes walk from the Midosuji line and a ~15-minute walk from Tennōji station for more local access.
For ¥1100 per adult (~$7.44 as of Aug 2025), a delicious hot breakfast buffet can be included.
There is a coin-op laundry facility on the 2nd floor with 2 washers and 1 dryer.
Staff were very friendly and helpful!"
