"The property was about what I normally expect from a hostel. It was clean but a little run down. And the room with private bathroom was not actually a private bathroom. And the couple in the adjacent room who shared the semi-private bathroom were terribly messy. They should be more specific that it is not actually a private bathroom. Overall it was a decent stay. The location is great, near everything. With plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. And it is perfect for the airport bus. The...

Top Transdanubia Hotel Reviews

Mövenpick Balaland Resort Lake Balaton

8/10 Good

"Excellent room and facilities. Room and certain other areas such as softplay, could have been cleaner, with dust build up around edges. Some of the hotel seemed a bit disorganised. Booked a takeaway breakfast for an early flight home, and the employee at the front desk claimed that this was not possible. Kitchen staff acknowledged that it had been ordered, but when to check if it was finished and never came back. Kids club activities didn't run to schedule. Pool opening times seemed to change each day. Overall a brilliant hotel for kids, just needs some more attention to detail to be truely amazing."

Bonvital Wellness & Gastro Hotel Hévíz - Adults Only

8/10 Good

"The rooms were clean, the staff were great, the location can't be beat if you are going to the thermal lake and walking around town. It also has a very nice bar for socializing over drinks. The only glitch for us was the included meals. We had a vegetarian with us and for her the food didn't hit the mark. However, for most people, the hotel should be a great place to stay."

Le Primore Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Originally, booked for two nights as a way to explore Hungarian thermal spa area. After first day's experience we extended our stay to six days. Quite nicely appointed structures and decore, lobby, facilities and rooms with the attention to details. Helpful staff always ready to assist. Half board package is adequate, breakfast and dinner well presented and tasty. Few times we grabbed a lunch at the pool bistro. Prices for drinks/wines are higher, but in line with the fivestar designation, I guess. IMHO, the parking in the facility should be included for hotel guests, but in Europe, everybody is trying to make extra charge. I don't think hotel of this level needs to penny-pinch on parking. Please continue to maintain these high standards in today's hard times and we will be back."
