"Our check-in started badly when they could find our reservation even though it was fully paid for almost a year earlier. Since I had all the paperwork to support our paid reservation, staff upgraded us to a bungalow unit. But bathroom looks stylish but is not functional. Shower splashes & runs all over the bathroom floor. Tile floor is slippery when wet & no grab bars. Definitely not a bathroom for seniors or anyone with stability issues. Grounds are lovely but hotel is far from town so you’re stuck dining @ hotel."

"The property was central with good facilities including a swimming pool. The breakfast was good & the staff great, especially Michael who helped us a couple of times. Only complaint was poor wi-fi which did was slow & did not cover the entire room. The TV also didn’t work properly"

"The homestay is old but clean. The location is not very convenient, but it’s a good place for relaxing and staying for 1 or 2 nights to enjoy the beautiful views and nature. The staff are friendly, though luggage storage space is limited. "

"While the staff were very friendly and welcoming, my stay was significantly impacted by the noise levels. The property is home to local frogs that live directly beneath the rooms; their calls are remarkably loud and sound similar to barking dogs and is constant non stop! from 8:00 PM until 4:00 AM every night. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, you may find it difficult to get any rest here."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made to order eggs and crepes as well as a pho noodle option. I usually had an omelette and/or a banana crepe with chocolate sauce. Both were very good. The pool was very nice and we enjoyed cooking off after a hot day touristing. I missed having a safe and fridge in the room. The room had a musty smell that was improved with new bedding. Our “mountain view” room was right up against the rock face so maybe that created a dampness. Our shower was a wet room with the shower in the middle between the toilet and the sink, so most of the floor was wet water a shower."

"This is a quaint little spot. Not much to the grounds themselves, nestled into the mountainside not much of a “view” but excellent for a very cheap rate!! Rooms immaculate and comfortable, food delicious, pool clean, staff friendly and helpful. Scooter rental on site. Perfect spot to stay to visit Ninh Binh!! "

"This was an incredible stay. The location, the breakfast oh that pool, so refreshing after long walks. You can access the entire area by foot. I stayed a week. Never rented a scooter and walked to Ninh binh twice. Freedom was such a relaxing wonderful experience and the little lady who literally sweeps, cleans and smiles all day. Made my day as the world goes mad. My mind was free. Thank you, it's not goodbye, just see you down the trail. 😍"
