"We caught a grab taxi from the train station and had a lovely greeting from Thuong & Duong as soon as we arrived. The homestay (rooms are separate from the house) sits by the river right inbetween Trang An & Mua Peak, both very easy to walk to (30 mins) or cycle (10 mins) using their free bikes. We also cycled down to Tam Coc and Bich Dong Pagoda. It was difficult, all flat and such beautiful scenery. If you're choosing between Tam Coc and Trang An boats rides, Trang An is easily the best...

"Amazing home stay, family really nice and helpful, laundry service really good, the only negative for us was we needed to get a taxi to places as not walking distance. He did have bikes that could be used however this is not something we felt safe doing with the busy roads."

"The resort is a thoroughfare for Mua Caves access and although the grounds are kept beautifully, the attention to detail does not carry forward into to the rooms. This place is great if you are wanting early access to mua cave before it becomes crowded. It also has great spaces for photos and looks very pretty with all the lanterns at night. "Great place to stay. Its a bit hard to find on the Grab app so I recommend using a location that is close to Mua Valley Lodge on Google maps and then taking a Grab to that location, for example Donald Bar Restaurant."
