"We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The hotel is attractively set in large grounds. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and had a small balcony. Every single member of staff we met was welcoming. They went out of their way to engage with us and help -this included the reception, bar & dining and housekeeping staff. The breakfast area was calm and well managed with a good range of options. We chose to take our evening meals in the Terrace Bar. There was a large range of options to choose from and the staff were very helpful - especially Amy who served us very professionally most nights."

The food was excellent with very large portions, a little too big for us. There is also a nice little bar for afternoon and evening drinks. The hotel could do with some updating and although I'd say it was generally clean, I don't think a vacuum had been used in our room the whole week."
