"Honestly, this was a wonderful hotel all round! I was sent down here for work but decided to bring my mum with me for a cheeky free trip to Torquay and the staff at the hotel couldn’t be any more accommodating than they were! She’s disabled and I had a plethora of requests to help make her stay more comfortable and they came up trumps on every single one of them. The staff were lovely, the room was lovely and spacious, the food was excellent and the service was five stars! We ordered room service and there was a small tray charge for this, but it was worth it for the convenience, quality and level of service. There is a little spa area, emphasis on the word little, but does the trick perfectly. I have some more work coming up down this way so will definitely be rebooking as soon as my dates are confirmed! "May stay was great but my next booking didn't go well as I double booked a room at the ibis and hotels.com never done anything to get my £75 back I had to go the ibis and sort it myself. Which ended up me cancelling my reservation for the grand this week 🤔"

"We were move to the grand Hotel as the Abbey wasn't able to us. Staff was friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was clean and warm. Yes the hotel could be updated in the room, like a usb port. "
