The room was fine, good space and room for luggage (booked comfort studio). That said, there were a few things to note. This was the only hotel where I had to check in before we got there and required me to upload passport details. You needed it to get a qr code to check in. You also don't get a key to your room, you get a 4 digit number. We found that a little frustrating the first night as we weren't shown how to do it, but got it sorted. We had the comfort studio which had a washer dryer in the room. Overall a good location, near Ueno station and has a Lawson up the road.

I loved that it had an in room washer/dryer, but because it was the first night of our trip, we didn’t use it. Would definitely consider staying here again.

First impressions is a clean modern unit, is good enough for family of 4, and it is like a small home, my wife surprised they have a rice cooker. So nice to have a kitchen so we can cook. Enjoy the wagyu most of our stay. Walking distance to the JR station but my teenage think is far after we walk all day, but surprisingly quiet. Washing machine in the room is excellent so i can clean my cloth in the room, but need learning time on the machine even they have sort of simple instructions. The staff is friendly and helpful even before we arrive, because they mention their check in time need to be 10pm before, and my flight is late night, they help me go through the pre check in online that I never done it before (this is my first time in Japan). Just appreciate their help. I probably will stay there again next time.
