We loved it so much every-time we tried to venture out, we wanted to go back! Because nothing compared to it . The food was empecable, the tea time service .. unmatched . We are very avid travelers and like to be pampered when we go on vacation . Of this is you! Stay here!!!! BTW the Japanese spa accommodations were excellent! I highly recommend this hotel to the pickiest of travelers. "

"I arrived very early, ready to ask if I could store my luggage until my room was ready, when I was handed the key to my room. I understand this doesn’t always happen, but it was great to get to my room a couple of hours early. My room was lovely with a view of the church. The hotel is in a fantastic location and is perfect for exploring the narrow streets of the old town, but it’s also just steps away from the main shopping area, the river, and other highlights of Basel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I would highly recommend this Hotel."
