Excellent hotel with a very convenient location, right next to the train station, which made traveling around the city and taking day trips very easy. The hotel was fantastic. It was situated in the perfect position for us, as it was very close to the train station and we spent a lot of time visiting other cities via the trains. The staff were very attentive and friendly and very helpful whenever we had any questions. They gave us a Basel card on arrival to grant us free inner-city transport and 50% discount on museums, which was a great help. The room was always kept very clean and we were very warm and comfortable there. Cannot fault our stay here, it was perfect.

Surprisingly good standards, close to superb communications. Friendly staff. The only thing lacking is a well lit mirror, on the wall, infront of the desk so that female travellers can have the option to sit down to do their hair and makeup. A comfortable chair with backrest is also missing.
