"First, I know minimal korean, and I am a vegetarian who don't eat onion garlic, but dairy products is fine. From Jamsil station Exit 5, walk till you see a signage says 7000 on one side, there will be a queue, and tell the driver you're going to Seorak Bus Terminal(1st Stop!) Try catch it at 1230pm (or even earlier for seats) to catch the shuttle bus(location to wait @ see 1st photo) to the village otherwise cabbing there is approx. 30,000 won. The bus ride approx. 1 hr, and wait for shuttle...

"Great place, quite far from the slopes. There is a shuttle but it was not consistent and there wasn't a schedule available. Also, if your driving it is difficult to find parking near the slopes so go early. "

"잠도 못자고 새벽에 나왔습니다. 사장님 서비스 및 응대태도. 침구류 관리상태 정말 불편하고 다시는 가고 싶지 않습니다. 건물내 펌프가동 소음 때문에 잠을 잘수 없고, 소음으로 인해 잠을 잘수가 없습니다. 로비층에서 바베큐 냄새 및 연기가 상부층 숙소로 다 들어옵니다. 침구류 상태는 썩은 냄새가 날 정도 이며 교체한 침구류에서는 관리가 되지 않은 이불을 주고 좋은 추억 만들려 가족여행 갔다가 다음날 일정취소 하고 새벽에 집으로 왔습니다. "

"The accommodation was spacious and the staff was helpful. We went in winter and the heating was warm enough. The surrounding area has limited dining options. "

"It was a bit tricky finding the entrance at first and had to go down a steep hill. There's a large parking space. The entire place looked really pretty. The room structure was unique. There is a balcony with a fantastic view of the mountains and a stream. You can have bbq at the balcony for extra fee. It would be great to visit in the summer and swim in the stream! There were a lot of spider webs between the trees. It's really eco-friendly. "

"Do not stay here on the off season if you don't have a car! There are no taxis around! The floor heat was never warm enough and it went off at night so we woke up to freezing weather. The bed heat pads were nice, but we ended up going to bed at 5pm to stay warm."

Also, the yard in front is big and has a lot of toys and equipment for kids and family to use. The one thing I would take note of is that you cannot control the room heat on your own, because it is a pension and not a hotel. "We loved that we had a beautiful view and that we got to bbq right outside our unit. The owners were very kind and helpful and gave us our space. What we didn’t like was that it is down a very steep and long hill and most taxi’s couldn’t come down to pick us up. The ac didn’t work inside the unit so we had to leave our door open for some cold air to come thru. "
