"Room was immaculate, staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was lovely and a great selection, stayed for 1 evening meal, we had the steak pie with chips and peas which we would highly recommend, the only thing we didnt like was the 10% service charge, its not made obvious on the menu, its right at the bottom of the page and without my glasses i missed it, and again it was not made obvious at the till, i just dislike that the charge was not made more obvious."

"Perfect location for the heliport or airport.. mars & the two next door are the three closest hotels to both. The guy waited up late for me until almost 11pm when my train was delayed & they usually close at 10pm so it was really good of him. I accidentally damaged something & offered to pay for it but he wouldn't take payment...so understanding & sound of him. You can see he's investing in the place & trying to make it better, not just neglecting it like at some places. There was a radiator in the room which I could turn up or down myself & I liked that (better than those ceiling units you get in the big hotels). I was given a free room upgrade to a sea view room & it had been a steal of a price anyway so it was pretty awesome of them. I'll definitely got back because of the close proximity to the heliport but it's also very close to the beach (just over the road) & the promenade & South pier is just a short walk away."
