"the room was not fit for purpose, damp and blistered plaster ,no bedside lamp ;no rubbish bin , no TV, told had not received licence . dirty windows, and work still to be done outside the windows.No food offered or available. I had booked for two nights , I left after one ,but didn't ask for refund . Only one member of staff, who was apologetic ,and said my room was an upgrade . I paid cash on arrival ,but did not get a receipt."

"We absolutely love this hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds really comfortable. It could do with an update and refurb in certain areas but this doesn't affect the quality of the stay. The staff are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can. It's location is perfect as it's close to South pier, a tram stop, shops and the pleasure beach. We will be making further bookings in the future."

"I can say it is cheating customer simply. I booked a expensive family room for 1 night, but when I reached to hotel they said no rooms available and he said it's mistake from hotels.com website do not to accept bookings. I booked 5 days before and they confirmed by mail and message and charged onspot on booking by online. I booked it because it's it's very near to beach but they took me a different rooms where refurbishing 3-4 rooms which was bad smell, no bathrooms, no drinking water, no WiFi...
