"We absolutely loved our stay with the Minnewaska Lodge and our certain we’ll be back! Everything about our stay was lovely from the incredible beautiful property, outdoor and indoor seating Adirondack style, hiking trails, fire pits, and dog friendly amenities, not to mention very personable staff absolutely well manicured grounds & great cliff view from our balcony… only thing- room needed a little help with supplies, but other than that, it was perfect! If you can add parking spaces to the top level, that would be convenient for some of us who struggle with walking uphills a bit.. but again minimal issue for such an enjoyable stay!"
"Pretty new hotel in excellent condition. I had a studio with a nice kitchen, sitting area, and king sized bed. Nice sized bathroom, with a walk in shower (with excellent water pressure.) Very quiet room.
The area has many shopping centers. My room looked on the back and side of a Target, and I think this added to the quiet at night.
Excellent front desk staff. Very good laundry room with 4 washers and 6 dryers. Each $2.50 in quarters, but front desk staff can give you change.
Good breakfast buffet area with 4 hot options (eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage, French toast sticks), cereals, yogurts, breads/toasts/English muffins, coffee/tea, many juices. Ample space in lobby or outdoors to sit and eat.
They have a beer/wine electronic dispenser in the lobby. You purchase an electronic card and then it will dispense a fixed amount.
Very close to the on-ramp to Route 199, so it’s a very quick to get to the Kingston-Rhinebeck bridge and cross the river.
I would definitely stay here again. "
"When I checked in staff member wasnt very greetable, He was like ok. Then stated my reservation was for 2 queen beds, I said no I chose a King bed room onlone. Then handed me a paper to sign and I heard him say somethings and the last part was was card and card reader said unexpected $125 charge. I assumed in case of damages. Then handed me the keys. I was like ok which way am I going, never been here before. Not a outgoing person. Other then that the room was great and bed was comfortable. "
