"Beautiful secluded property with true luxury onsen experience. Staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful. They accommodated our large family of 11, including a few different food allergies very well. The teenagers loved the private and public hot baths. Thenonly downside was a strong mildew smell in the otherwise immaculate room. Overall, I highly recommend this resort for an authentic and high end onsen experience."

"It is our very first time to stay in a traditional Japanese Ryokan.. i believed that they open to tourist not Long ago... it is operate by limited staffs and they could only speak very simple English... Although, there are some communication barrier between us, their gesture make us feel like staying at home rather in a hotel... The majority of their ryokan’s amenities is old but well maintained... they had upgraded their air conditioner to the new one which allow you to change your room...

"The staff here were so friendly and helpful. They really made you feel welcomed and helped you settle in. The property is beautiful, a classic traditional Japanese style ryokan and they provide slippers and robes as well. It was a very enjoyable stay for us. Even given the 15-20minute walk from the train station, you’re surrounded by beautiful nature and architecture, so it doesn’t feel very far at all. Our room had a private onsen which was fantastic, definitely a highlight! We recommend Yushintei and would absolutely come back."

"Except one thing that I will mention at the end — The room was nice and clean. The public baths were great (able to tried both located on 5F and 6F) - well maintained and clean. The view of 6F public bath was spectacular. It’s definitely not convenient location because it’s the terminus station of the bus from Gora. Going back to Gora you will definitely take hotel shuttle which ends at 5pm, or taxi. We happened coming from Gotemba where the bus stops right outside the hotel. So the only thing we didn’t like - the private hot tub in the room. (1) small that could just fit one (we happened to go to another onsen hotel and in-room tub could fit 2); the room’s tub is at the balcony… let’s not say it maybe too cold at night. It was very dark at night too. There were only very dim light at the corner of the balcony making it very dark at night. — the dark and cold and small tub making us impossible to enjoy the private tub in the room. Not sure how others would enjoy or do that at night. But we think it’s just something that looks nice for you to have but it’s just not practical."

"The staffs were extremely helpful during the check in by carrying all luggage’s and guided us all the way to our rooms. The rooms are clean and spacious. The onsen in the room is well maintained and with great view. The breakfast was way beyond expectation. Although the hotel is a bit far from train station, by the hotel shuttle service made it very convenience. Great hotel and excellent service!"
