"Clean Room"

"The pool and hot tub are heated, clean and very nice. The room was bare-boned, with no microwave and the cheapest coffee maker possible. There was peeling paint in the shower area, and the place needs updating for the price I paid. It looks like they just keep painting over old walls without updating. It was pretty quiet there, which was very nice, and the location is very good and feels safe. There were zero instructions in the room for internet, and zero given when registering for the lodge itself, so I had to call the front desk a few times to figure out where everything was located, what the parking situation was, and what the internet password was. The Tavern at the Tiburon Lodge is not affiliated with Tiburon Lodge itself, so you cannot charge your meals to your room, but that is not made clear by the front desk. The Staff were all friendly and responsive, just not trained to provide the information you need as a guest when registering. Overall I liked the location, but might look elsewhere for a rate more in line with the overall quality of the place itself."

"Convenient location for hiking and the beach"

"LOCATION, lLOCATION, LOCATION! We stayed here for the convenience of the location closest to tourist attractions and transportation. The complimentary breakfast is complete with hot and cold items, juice and fruits. The beds were so comfy too! The pool was too cold for winter. Will recommend to stay here. "

"It was clean and adequate except for the shower water control; we had to get cool water in the ice picket to make the shower doable; the water temperature regulator was not working properly so it was very hot the regulator would not get it to a warm enough temperature so it was too hot."

"Perfect spot to relax, Staff is excellent, Jonathon was very helpful and friendly. Several Great restaurants within walking distance. The view of the bay is outstanding. Will definitely come back again very soon."

"I was expecting to use spa but couldn’t - at arrival I went upstairs in person and apparently the ONLY spa worker was busy and no one was there to take an appointment. I asked a hotel worker to hunt someone down for help and later was told they were all busy. I left a phone message which was not returned for an appointment. THEN FINALLY a WORKER PHONED MY HOTEL ROOM - SHE SPENT 8 MINUTES YELLING AT ME THAT I WAS NOT UNDERSTANDABLE. Ok I am Japanese - so my Husband from Chicago got on the phone and SHE told HIM HE WAS NOT COMMUNICATING Correctly. This is a Racist, Mean, Lazy, nasty SPA! I will never return to CASA MADRONA"

"What a gem of a hotel! Awesome service, clean and very nice rooms, great amenities and guest treats, delicious hot breakfast and fresh coffee at all hours. Stay here you will not be disappointed! Super close to SF downtown as well… what a place!"
