"Great from start to finish. AC in the room could have been cooler. Breakfast had a large selection. House beer acceptable but not great. All of the staff were very welcoming."
"These apartments were a fantastic last-minute find. The rooms were a good size and it slept 5 of us very comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped - I was particularly impressed by the large fridge-freezer, especially useful in 35°s! The pool was fab, cleaned morning & night, with plenty of loungers and shaded areas if required. Another big bonus: it has direct access to Playa Bastian less than a minute's walk down the garden path, and the snorkeling was superb!"
"Great little find. Immaculately clean, great staff, lovely pool. Rooms great with pretty private balconies. Room can get hot with no air con. Breakfast fab. Great bar with very well priced drinks and food. 10 minute walk into Costa Teguise. 5 minute from beach, supermarket, 2 minutes from taxi rank or bus stop.
Highly reccomend, we will be back. Thank you"
"The room was not cleaned properly, as there was stuff on the floor and even in the balcony. I do feel it depends on who was cleaning it, as they did the room late. The bathroom was clean well and the bedsheets were shabby but clean andnbath towel were fine. The air conditioning was rubbish to start of with and had to complain twice, but eventually after the third dayit was sorted. But still could have had more power coming through system. But was told there was a issue in that block which was block 2.
The lifts weren't on so we had to climb to the second floor which wasn't pleasaThe staff were very helpful and friendly at reception although I found the older ones a bit miserable when asking a simple question. The restaurant had a lot of food but it felt like it was the same dishes everyday but just cook differently and at times cold. Loved the salad and collection of cakes and fruit.
The pool restaurant was petty much the same. But always access to drink thoughout the day. The swimming pool was very big and quiet at times.
The hotel was situated at a really good spot, where basically all the restaurants, supermarkets and gift shops on your doorstep. The restaurants around the area was responsibly priced & there was so much places to eat out, if you choose half board or breakfast only. The beach to me wasn't appealing and I was happy to stay around the hotel pool. On a whole I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again if I went back to Lanzarote."
"We had a wonderful three day stay here! Our room was spotless and had beautiful tiling in the bathroom and on the balcony. The two pools are gorgeous, always plenty of sun loungers available (and they will get more out for you if you need). Enjoyed 7.50 cocktails at the pool bar! Breakfast was great, big selection of delicious pastries, hot items etc and a station cooking omelettes and pancakes. Dinner was also good, again there is a station cooking steaks, pork chops, fish etc to order and dinner has a different theme each night of the week. 10 min walk to the beach (would recommend Playa del Jablilo over Curachas as it's nicer for swimming) and lots of bars and restaurants nearby for drinks and lunch. Would 100% stay again."
"Our second stay at Los Zocos (5-12 July) following a trip there in Feb of this year. It was much busier this time compared to February. The only downside was the race to get a parasol in the morning. One family was getting up at 5:30 to secure theirs and we ended up having to get up between 6:00-6:30 to find a decent spot. It was hot so we needed a parasol to stay by the main pool all day. The quiet pool is less busy though. That was the only negative.
LOCATION
Just amazing. A couple of minutes walk to the beach with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Costa Teguise is relatively flat so good for long walks.
APARTMENTS
We stayed in Block C this time and loved it there. Our balcony overlooked the quiet pool and was shaded in the afternoon with a lovely breeze. The beds are very comfortable, it's clean, quiet and perfect for us.
FOOD
Great choice with something for everyone. Proper bacon in the mornings is a bonus. Lots of chicken, meats, fish, pasta, chips, veg etc. Snack bar does lovely food - paella, pasta, burgers, hotdogs, chips...
DRINKS
Standard local booze, slush, tea/coffee. All pretty standard across AI.
STAFF
This is where Zocos excels - the staff are all AMAZING! I wish I had more space but they are all so friendly and helpful. Special mention to the lady in the restaurant who always found me a nice cool table under the AC and Alejandro in the Galleon bar - what a couple of legends! There are loads of activities throughout the day and evening with the team."
