"Proximity to yacht club for our function was key, unimpeded lake views were fantastic, easy parking and room was all we needed-very clean & roomy, with good kitchen & bathrooms facilities"
"comfy and well equiped home with an amazing view. rooms were super comfortable with the heater and we love that there were toilets upstairs and downstairs. kitchen facilities could be improved but other than that we loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to others!"

With its stunning lake, excellent walking trails and mesmerising glow worm cave, this town is more than just an access point for the sounds of Fiordland.
Te Anau has a relaxed feel and is a great base from which to visit Milford Sound (we drove the 120kms each way stopping to take plenty of photos en route - allow enough time) and also Doubtful Sound from Manapouri, about 20 Kms away.

Absolutely loved our visit. Great town, lots of yummy places to eat, and absolutely beautiful. We did a little section of Kepler Track and visited the Bird Sanctuary, both were worth stopping by.

Lovely, quiet town with nice options for dining and walking. Took the Milford Island tour from there which was awesome! Liked staying there much better than bustling Queenstown.

Definitely a tourist town. Great scenery & hiking in the area. Lot of good restaurants all in walking distance (small town).
"It was beautiful and comfortable. My husband forgot his camera at the property. The staff was so lovely to send their camera to the US. What an excellent service and hospitality! They went beyond what they do. Thank you for your superb service. We will stay again."
