comfy and well equiped home with an amazing view. rooms were super comfortable with the heater and we love that there were toilets upstairs and downstairs. kitchen facilities could be improved but other than that we loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to others!

The chalet we stayed in had amazing view from upstairs. It was a little dated, but the view more than made up for it. The staff were great and it was the perfect place to stay for our Doubtful sound adventure.

The property is located at very beautiful location right opposite the lake. The facilities in the cabin were a little dated but worked. We had a great time exploring the area. Will love to come back.

Unexpected gem

One of my favourite stays in New Zealand - we booked the chalet for a family of 4 and it was perfect. Quirky upside down house, in a stunning lakeside location. Not the most fancy place but had everything we needed - good cooking facilities etc. great value for money

We booked the swiss chalet, thinking it would be very comfortable. It was, except for the bed, which was caved in. Also, the living area was on the second floor and was very hot. There was no fan available to help move the air. There were no screens on the windows and sand flies flew in. The view from the upstairs living room was gorgeous. The attendant was very friendly and helpful.
