"We have stayed at this hotel 6 times previously, great for the Lingfield races. This occasion we got a first floor race course view close to the finishing post. Turned up 2 hours prior to normal check in time and was allowed to check in. Always find the staff here pleasant and helpful. After the race had drinks in the bar, good atmosphere. Room was great, lovely king size bed. Breakfast was great as usual but very busy at 0845. No shortage of either fresh fruit, cereals or hot full breakfast. Staff kept on top of this. We will use this hotel again."

"Rooms need updated. Very unlike most of their “ sister “ properties. Bathrooms poor shape and windows filthy. Exterior grounds in need of desperate tidying weeds all over and poorly exterior grounds keeping. "The hotel is to undergo a referbishment in a months time. Our room was dreadful, with holes in the walls a television you could not watch as it was facing the ground. The furniture was very damaged"
