"We just got back from our trip, to no fault of the hotels, we chose a heavy sargassum season (May) so the beach was unfortunately unusable and the smell was quite potent. That being said, the hotel staff was amazing. Every single person was kind, helpful and very attentive. One of the managers, her name was Karen, made sure to say hi and converse with us everyday, asking if we needed anything or if we needed anything for our rooms. This includes all staff, from the bellman, to poolside hosts, to the restaurant waiters and even housekeeping. Everyone had a smile and great attitude. You can tell they wanted to make our experience there as enjoyable as possible. On our last night, they even sent dessert to our rooms as a goodbye treat, which I found to be very thoughtful. Would definitely go back (not during a Sargassum month)"
