"Best place to stay in Tulum! Gorgeous place. Had a fridge, stove, microwave, air conditioner in both rooms, two TV’s, high speed wifi, bikes to rent for the day for cheap! The top pool is so fun. Legit spent so much time on the top deck in the water and sun! Super kind people. They went above & beyond and really care about their guests. I’ll 100% be coming back, a dream place truly. It’s a rare find, don’t miss this gem! Best trip of my life thank you Kiki!"

"We had a great stay! Buffet was great! Staff were always ready to help and went above and beyond. only criticism wish restaurant booking could be more seamless. We found ants in our room . since we had baby, it was very concerning, Ither than that very nice stay."

"On arrival the check in was seamless, we arrived after dinner service but had the option to eat at the lobby bar with a selection of sandwiches, buns, sweet pastries and condiments. We loved dining at all the restaurants and booking these was made easy at the guest services desk. The staff throughout the resort were kind, polite and helpful across all areas from housekeeping, mini bar service, front desk, service attendants, waiting and bar staff. The food and drinks options were varied and presentation fantastic to add to great flavour choices. Entertainment was also varied and with the extra choices available at the other connected Barcelo resorts there is certainly something for everyone no matter your cultural or artistic fancy. We found the pool areas clean, relaxing and also entertaining depending on where you chose to be. We were able to find shade or sun drenched areas depending on how we wanted to be on the day and findings loungers available was never a problem. The grounds, rooms and common areas along with all the dining areas are beautiful kept, clean, ascetically pleasing and modern. We had a fabulous vacation with a great combination of relaxation, entertainment, great dining and we definitely plan on returning. All in all we would recommend this establishment to anyone thinking of booking their next Cancun vacation in Mexico."

"It's our 3rd time there. Place is always amazing. We keep going back, because we always try to find somewhere to go and look all over the place and all over the Caribbean and Costa Rica and all of that stuff, and we always end up coming back to the Barcelo. The surrounding area has never-ending awesome things to do, the beach is unbeatable, and they have their own reef for snorkeling that's a few miles long. We stay at the Palace with the premium level, but the little bit extra you pay for the premium level is worth it a hundred times over"

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"Secrets Akumal is a beautiful resort, and we had a great stay overall. We stayed in Building 3 on the first floor in a swim-out room, which had direct access to the pool from our patio. It was a great option and gave us a convenient, more private place to relax whenever we wanted some time away from the main pools. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. The entire property was clean and well maintained, and the service was consistently excellent. Our concierge, Karen, was especially helpful and sent us daily messages with information about available activities, excursions, and events around the resort. We spent quite a bit of time relaxing in the beachfront cabanas, which were very comfortable. We also treated ourselves to a spa day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The spa facilities are top-notch and were definitely one of the better parts of our stay. The biggest downside was the beach itself. There isn’t much of a beach directly in front of the resort, as the usable stretch of sand is fairly narrow. There was also a significant amount of seaweed during our stay, which made the beach less appealing than we expected. If having a large, pristine beach is a major priority for your vacation, this is something to keep in mind. One other thing to be aware of is the resort membership presentation. Be prepared to receive a sales pitch regarding their membership program. It wasn’t enough to negatively affect our overall experience."

"Staff was incredibly hospitable very nice especially Guillermo from intake lobby staff was also very nice courteous made our stay very very special peaceful and relaxing would like to see more variety in Latin foods like Puerto Rico and Dominican however will definitely recommend and visit again"

"Un beau hotel et surtout bien entretenu. Le buffet n’est pas assez diversifié, aucun fruit de mer. Une partie du buffet est souvent fermée, manque de personnel. Le peu de personnel n’est pas assez souriant, sympathique. Coté spectacle, aucun pendant toute la semaine. C’est souvent un DJ à l’extérieur, uniquement de la musique latine aucune diversification. La piscine est très propre et bien entretenue."
