"Maybe I should preface this by saying I don’t usually do resorts. But this stay made me realize I never want to again. The check in process was excruciatingly long. I was tired and jet lagged and asked repeatedly to just get to my room and they kept asking to sign me up for events for discounts. I just wanted to lay down. While I was there I was harassed when I was at the pool by staff about my room number and my last name. Then to confirm my room number and confirm my last name. I just told you. I then watched the staff members walk around the resort and not ask anyone else for that information. I saw them later and asked them why I was asked and they said they asked everyone. I didn’t see that at all. Bartenders were great. Maids a turndown service was great. So many rules, maybe if you don’t plan on leaving the resort this would be a good stay. I left every night to explore and getting in and out is such a pain. Checking out is a pain. You need a ticket to give to a cab driver to prove you checked out. Just way too much. Again I’m not a resort kind of person. If you are maybe you’ll enjoy this one. It’s not for me. "

"Had an incredible time at Grand Palladium. Highly recommend getting the Family Selection package as the Nest restaurant, the special beach, and the separate pool were our favourite places to hang out. Food everywhere was excellent but La Adelita was our favourite dinner. Only downside for the property was most of the main pool at Kantenah was very deep! At 5’8” I could barely touch on my tippy toes. "

"My husband and I had the best time at Unico for my 40th birthday. The staff were so attentive - Erik was amazing and made sure we had dinner reservations each night. He even went above and beyond to coordinate an in-room surprise for my birthday. The French restaurant was incredible - highly recommend. The spa was so relaxing. The pools were lovely. Everything about this place was perfect. 10/10. "

"Loved the stay as we got married at this resort 15 years ago. I did let them know about our anniversary but nothing was mentioned from them, little disappointing. Also the ladies at the front that talked us into going to talk about a time share was a bad experience. They told us and hour and a half took 3 hours of our day plus travel. They lied about why we were going they and didn’t tell me what it was. Staff at the resort were really good. It’s very clean."

"In comparison to other AI resorts we’ve experienced better. Not much for teenagers to do in the evening. Restaurants were OK. Wish they would take reservations. Seems like that would be a better way to do. The rooms are small but clean. Best experience was over on the heaven side, but need to be 18+ to be over there. Security was very strict about wristbands where it was almost strange. Making you show or scan a wristband for no apparent reason. Most of the staff was fantastic. Also found it odd they charged for so many of the activities like bowling, laser tag, etc. other resorts have been to all of that is part of it."
